Key Personnel

Stephen Munday CBE

Chief Executive Officer 

Joined Comberton Village College as Principal in 2001 and has overseen its conversion to Academy Status as well as the establishment of the Trust (formerly Comberton Academy Trust). A Cambridge graduate, he currently also works in several advisory capacities for the Department for Education.  

Chris Jukes

Primary Executive Leader

A former headteacher, Local Leader of Education and NPQH Course Coach, Chris is responsible for the Primary schools within the Trust, ensuring that they are provided with the support to develop and maintain high standards.

Paul Lawrence

Director of Education

A Specialist Leader of Education with a Master's degree in Educational Management and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and an Ofsted lead inspector who has more than 25 years’ experience of teaching. Paul now works to ensure the highest standard of education across all the Trust’s academies.

Rachel Hawkes

Director of International Education & Research

A linguist who oversees excellent language provision in all the Trust’s Academies as well as leading international developments in all the Academies, including the British Council International School Award.

Sean Sumner

Director of IT Strategy

Has worked at three of the Trust’s secondary schools, starting at Melbourn in 1988, moving to Comberton in 1990 and then to Cambourne in 2013. Originally a PE teacher, he switched to IT more than 20 years ago and is now responsible for developing IT for teaching and learning, introducing the use of iPads for staff and students across the Trust and ensuring all Trust academies make the best use of technology.

Mark Norman

Director of Finance and Operations 

Mark is a qualified accountant who oversees integrating new academies into the Trust as well as managing the Trust’s support operations to maximise efficiency, cost savings and economies of scale.

Tania Tull

Human Resources Manager

A qualified HR practitioner, with over more than 10 years' experience in education, who supports tThe Cam Academy Trust by strengthening HR processes and practice across all of its Academies.

Jan Berridge

Facilities Manager

Paul Middleton

IT Manager 

Paul’s role is to standardise working models, improve communication methods, improve reliability and implement new technologies across the Trust’s Academies.

Jonathan Bowers

Digital Learning Developer

Fusing his technical expertise and his ongoing ambition to impact education, Jonathan is spearheading the development of CATalogue - utilising the best of Office 365 to create learning spaces where resources are stored logically, always available and accessible across the Trust.

Judy Czylok

Publicity & Communications Manager

A qualified journalist who works with the Academies to enhance their own and the Trust’s internal and external communications.

Yvonne is Personal Assistant to the CEO and Clerk to the Board of Trustees.
